Because yesterday's chat apps were built for a world before agents. They're walled gardens you mostly have to violate the ToS to use. Even worse, there's no native controls or routing for agents. No agents allowed in group chats. Or agents won't shut up in group chats. There's no doc and artifact editing.
So we had to build a better mobile world.
