Google reportedly lets people 18 and older publish AI Studio-built Android apps to the Play Store without a paid developer account

A user says Google lets people 18 or older publish AI Studio-built Android apps to the Play Store without a paid developer account. The apps stay privately listed, serve only their creators and do not appear in search or recommendations. The user says the previous route required a $25 Play Developer account and a completed Play Console profile before reaching an internal testing track limited to 100 testers.
