I think frontier AI companies should share at least a bit more information about parameter counts for LMs. I don't know if Mythos is closer to a rat brain or a chimpanzee brain or (etc.) in scale, likewise for Spud, and I'd like to be able to intuitively model them better.

Don't expect them to, in the foreseeable future, share architectural details, but mere parameter count is less sensitive than it used to be
