A CEO (he builds an agentic system and their own models) told me today "X doesn't convert."
What does? He said YouTube and Instagram.
That got me to dig in. Turns out that most of who he was able to reach here on X were "inside the bubble" people (I have the most complete lists of them, about 50,000 AI researchers and developers here: https://x.com/scobleizer/lists).
"They just build their own," he told me, "instead of buying."
In other words, the normies who hang out on Instagram or YouTube are more likely to pay to have a song made, or a video made, or to do something.
I almost asked "how do we get more normies on X" but I stopped, because the nice thing about X is that it is full of people building (my lists have thousands of founders and thousands of investors) and don't want to ruin this little corner of the Internet.
Every day my agents read 40,000 posts here on X and make this news site, all about AI. I built it so that the normies could see what's happening here: https://alignednews.com/ai
