    @DanielleFongfrontier AI labs are probably an insanely better business than private equity, in terms of return on capex, at least for a while. it seems hard to avoid that they will be the driving force, and internal demand as well, as @dylan522p suggested on his recent podcast with @dwarkesh_sp if they're so powerful, i don't think it is not AGI pilled to think there will be backlash. inertia and backlash is how the system will fight to relative non-equilibrium steady state, if not something else. it is definitely disruptive in terms of scale and effect. but ultimately expansion of productivity and demand will scale the economy, beyond zero sum labor displacement, towards 8 billion millionaires
