    TLDR

A Hermes Agent user says the tool grew from a chat interface into an “operating layer” across work, research, personal organization and family life over 15 days. They report adding more than 50 capabilities, including email triage, daily briefings, calendar and task planning, meeting notes, coding workflows and family logistics support. The user describes connecting Hermes to their own management system as one of the most important additions and shares a day-by-day account of the process.

@marc_bara15 days ago, I installed @NousResearch's Hermes Agent. What started as a chat interface has gradually become an operating layer across my work, research, personal organisation and family life. During these two weeks, I have added more than 50 capabilities: email triage, daily briefings, calendar and task planning, meeting notes, research radars, coding workflows, local models, publishing, personal automations and support for everyday family logistics. One of the most important additions was connecting Hermes to my own system for managing tasks, projects, clients and invoices. I built a custom MCP server so Hermes can interact directly with that system instead of treating it as disconnected information. I documented the journey day by day because I thought it might be useful to see how much a personal AI agent can change in only fifteen days, not as a demo, but through real use across professional, personal and family contexts. Here is the timeline: https://fifteen-days-hermes.pages.dev/ Thanks to @NousResearch, @Teknium, @witcheer and @HermesWatcher for building Hermes and making it so extensible.
