Open-source AeriVoice is in the works as a Mac dictation app for the notch
Its builder says users can hold a key to talk, then release it to paste cleaned-up text wherever the cursor is.
TLDR
The builder says AeriVoice is an open-source Mac dictation app being built to live in the notch. Users would hold a key to talk, then release it to paste cleaned-up text at the cursor. The builder pitches bringing your own API key as a way to avoid a $20 monthly subscription when API use costs only $2 a month.
