One user’s take on AI’s future: stay human or merge with silicon?

A user predicts that biohacking or hybridizing with silicon would almost certainly make us “very not human” and lead us “to lose reasons for being.”

    TLDR

A user sketches futures without “super AI,” with super AI while people remain entirely human, or with AI alongside biohacking or silicon hybridization. They call the stay-human scenario “the kindergarten.” In their view, the hybrid path would almost certainly make us “very not human” and lead us “to lose reasons for being.”

@francoisfleuretThere are only two long-term futurs: (1) no super AI (2) super AI + we remain entirely human, I call this the kindergarten and (3) AI + we biohack / hybridize with silicon, with the quasi certainty of becoming very not human, and to lose reasons for being IMO.
