ReSteer goes open source to tackle mid-task instruction changes in frontier VLAs

The team behind ReSteer says today's frontier VLAs can handle many tasks but often stick with the original task when instructions change mid-execution. They say their RSS 2026 paper measures and explains that steerability problem and introduces ReSteer as a fix. In an October 6 post, a team member announced that ReSteer was open source and linked to its GitHub repository.
