    TLDR

Robert Scoble posted that the future of transportation is here but not evenly distributed yet. He pointed out that CyberCab does not reach his house in San Jose, the capital of Silicon Valley, and noted that Waymo also does not serve his area. Scoble mentioned there are 348 cities in the USA with more than 100,000 residents and questioned when half of them will have CyberCab, adding that next year is possible but not probable.

@ScobleizerThe future of transportation is here. Just not evenly distributed yet. Not at my house in San Jose, capital of Silicon Valley. But then Waymo doesn’t get to my house yet either. There are 348 cities in USA that have more than 100,000 residents. When will half have CyberCab? Next year is possible but not probable. So 2028. But the second half will go faster than the first. So 2030 to get all of them, if regulation allows. Big if. When will Silicon Valley get it? I would bet that it will take six to 12 months from now. If regulation allows. But all this doesn’t matter to Tesla investors. In five years most of the profits for Tesla will be from Optimus. But how will one get to your house or business? This. And this is what will make sharing a robot with your neighbors possible. Dramatically reducing the price of having a robot helping you do laundry. Be warned. If you get three rides you will dramatically change as a consumer. Once you trust your life to AI, like Sawyer is here, you will want AI everywhere.
