DGX Spark user urges Nvidia to give RTX Spark first-class Linux support

The user argues Windows would limit RTX Spark’s usefulness for autonomous AI work, saying all such work on their own two GB10 machines runs on Linux.

    TLDR

A daily DGX Spark user describes RTX Spark as a laptop with a Grace CPU and Blackwell GPU sharing up to 128GB of unified memory. They argue that AI agents need Linux’s terminal tools and filesystem behavior, and call on Nvidia to endorse Linux distributions such as Omarchy.

@sudoingXdear nvidia, you are about to launch rtx spark, the most exciting consumer hardware in years. a grace cpu and a blackwell gpu on one package sharing up to 128GB of unified memory, a petaflop in a laptop. i run your dgx sparks every single day so i know exactly what this silicon can do. and that is exactly why i am saying this early, windows will be the limiting factor on that beast. the agentic era this chip was built for lives on linux, agents live in terminals, they want ssh and tmux and systemd and a filesystem that behaves, and every second of the real autonomous work my two gb10 boxes do happens on linux. wsl is a translation layer, not a home. ship first class linux support, bless distros like omarchy the way dell just did on xps, and rtx spark becomes the default machine of the agentic os era instead of a very expensive gaming laptop with extra memory. the hardware is ready. let the os match it.
