Microsoft sets up Xbox Labs to explore AI-assisted game modding

The Verge reports Microsoft is assembling Xbox Labs, a small group of game makers, engineers and scientists, to explore emerging game mods, including those that use AI to remix games. Xbox CEO Asha Sharma says the team will build in the open and share tools with developers. The Verge says Microsoft did not respond to its question about unauthorized use of game IP before publication.
