`hermes update` then do `hermes skills install official/autonomous-ai-agents/openhands`
Reminder: You can already do this for claude code, codex, opencode, and hermes itself, you can force load the skill with `/<agent-name> <prompt>` or just ask hermes to use them, and it should find them.
These ones are all built-in skills :)
Users are excited about Hermes Agent adding OpenHands orchestration because it provides clean modular skills that deliver useful practical results with less ceremony.

**What it does:** Hermes acts as the main orchestrator and can delegate complex coding/software engineering tasks to **OpenHands** — an open-source, model-agnostic coding agent (backed by LiteLLM). OpenHands can plan, edit codebases, run commands, and complete real dev work using any LLM (OpenAI, Anthropic, Qwen, etc.).
Hermes already supports similar delegation to Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and itself. You can force it with `/openhands <your task>` or just ask Hermes to use the right tool for the job.
Basically, Hermes becomes a smart “manager” that routes tasks to specialized coding agents while keeping memory, logging, and control. Great for bigger dev projects!

@Teknium @OpenHandsDev I am running into Grok Build usage limit for the month, so was planning on configuring Hermes Agent + openhands + Qwen3.6 for continuing Dev on a game prototype. Anyone doing similar? Anyone seeing early success? How much of an uplift in outcomes by leveraging Hermes + OH?

skill orchestration is such a clean approach! having modular capabilities that agents can mix and match based on context is way more elegant than hardcoding every possible workflow
been wanting something exactly like this for agent workflows, especially for tasks where the agent needs to dynamically decide which tools to invoke based on what it discovers mid-task
