Scaleway plans AMD-powered AI supercomputer in Sweden

Reuters reports Scaleway said it will build its first AI supercomputer outside France in Sweden, using AMD Instinct MI355X chips. Scaleway calls it Europe's first AMD-based AI supercomputer for commercial use and says startups, AI companies and other businesses across the continent will be able to use it. French firm Bull will assemble and maintain the machine; Scaleway cited Sweden's largely low-carbon electricity and AI sector in choosing the site.
