A user sees no sign yet of Dario’s predicted job losses

According to one post, Dario predicted on May 28, 2025 that unemployment could spike to 10–20% within one to five years and half of new white-collar jobs would be gone.

    TLDR

A September 10, 2026 post takes stock of a forecast it attributes to Dario: within one to five years of May 28, 2025, unemployment could spike to 10–20% and half of new white-collar jobs would disappear. The writer admires that the prediction is testable but argues there is “no sign of it yet,” while acknowledging that time remains in the forecast window.

@thoggeOn May 28, 2025, Dario made a falsifiable prediction (which I really admire!) He said within 1-5 years unemployment could spike to 10-20% and HALF of white collar new jobs would be gone. We are now 1.5 years later - within the range - and no sign of it yet. 3.5 years left!
