    TLDR

In a reply on X, @teortaxesTex told @stanislavfort, @phl43 and @a_karvonen that full brain details are unnecessary because reproduction of the brain is not the goal. @teortaxesTex stated that connectionism, memory and some form of error propagation already supply most of what is needed, and those elements were identified in the McCulloch-Pitts model. @teortaxesTex@stanislavfort @phl43 @a_karvonen turns out we don't need to know that stuff, we are not going to reproduce the brain anyway. Most of the relevant bits were figured out with McCulloch–Pitts model. Connectionism, memory, some form of error propagation… that's most of what you need.
