More than 750,000 AI-linked US jobs estimated to have been created since 2023

Kobeissi Letter, citing LinkedIn estimates, says AI-linked roles have accounted for more than 750,000 new US jobs since 2023. Its breakdown lists 282,000 new data annotator positions, 117,000 data center jobs and 105,000 AI engineer jobs. It also says AI-related positions on LinkedIn have a median salary of about $180,000, compared with $80,000 across all jobs.
