Anthropic's claimed independent AI enzyme discovery faces questions over Claude chats

Anthropic says Claude worked largely unsupervised for days, using methods developed by SLAC’s Lance Dixon and colleagues. The company puts the cost at a few thousand dollars and says Dixon independently verified the result.

Bloomberg Law reports that an earlier ruling lifting the ban appears to remain in place for now, despite the rejection of Anthropic’s challenge.
