    TLDR

Patrick Shafto, professor of math and CS at Rutgers-Newark plus DARPA PM and Redpoll.ai co-founder, retweeted Eric Weinstein. Weinstein wrote that an idea encountered years earlier had sounded insane at first. He now sees that assessment as a failure of his own imagination. The packet contains only this retweet text and the academic's profile note. No description of the idea appears, nor any other posts or confirmations.

@jdlichtmanWe are now poised to: Formalize all known Human Mathematics. This is the modern equivalent of the Human Genome Project. or AlphaFold more recently, whereby all data of its kind is fully classified. With sufficient funding and compute/tokens, a coordinated effort among academia, frontier labs, philanthropic organizations, and the federal government can formalize all Human Mathematics in the next year.
@ericweinsteinThis sounded insane when I first heard the idea years ago. That appears to have been a failure of imagination on my part. Jared has been right about essentially everything in this area of the formalization of pure mathematics for the time I’ve been tracking him. Follow him.
