colsto reportedly located a recording within roughly 100 meters using aircraft Doppler shifts

A reference recording was reportedly located to within roughly 100 meters using aircraft Doppler shifts and flight data. Predicted Doppler curves for candidate locations were scored against the recording’s spectrogram. In a separate US-wide search using a one-minute clip of known time, the true location reportedly ranked first. Some cases may need less than a minute of audio; no code or tools are being released.
