TLDR
Arena’s September 12, 2026 reminder said users had 24 hours left to try GPT-Image-2.5 Sunburst free in Direct Mode, which lets users select models by name. Arena set the cutoff at September 13 at 8 a.m. PT and said the model would remain available anonymously in Battle and Agent Mode afterward. User votes in those modes power its leaderboard rankings, according to Arena.
