Wafer announced completion of a series A round co-led by Marathon and Chemistry. The company's founder posted that the team had targeted a smaller raise but secured a larger one instead, with additional backing from Wing VC, AMD Ventures, Outset Capital, and Fifty Years. The founder described the result as not matching the original plan yet exceeding expectations in scale.
