Perhaps most interesting that nobody will clip was that Dario is interested in mechanistic interpretability if you watch the full source video from wsj. I think he did well to say “I don’t know” quite a bit too.

I do think understanding why this technology works at a fundamental level by pulling it apart will matter down the road. Recently found OpenAIs sparse circuit paper really interesting.
