And this young guy in his snappy foreign car went from the high speed lane to my lane almost smashing my fender. A Tesla would have warned me !

We will need laws around vehicles circulating on roads looking for business - fleet deployment will need management in relation to demand and road congestion. Most of us like to own our stuff. For most humans, owning a primary means of transport will be their first or second most valuable investment. Tesla needs to sell fully autonomous vehicles to all who want one knowing most of us won't want our private vehicle used by other people.
