Block Launches Buzz App for AI Collaboration

Block Inc launched Buzz, an iOS and Android app for teams to chat and collaborate with AI agents in shared channels. The release was amplified by Jack Dorsey, who co-founded the company. Multiple posts highlight features such as shared compute for running open models like Google Gemma privately among community members. Commenters describe it as a potential Slack replacement centered on code and AI agents, with network effects at the agent layer seen as key to its value. The app is now available on both major mobile platforms.
