    Meta Offers Muse Spark 1.2 Contributor Pricing Tier

    A cheaper tier lets users access the model by allowing Meta to train on their data.

    TLDR

    Meta employees Jack Krawczyk and Matt Deitke posted about Muse Spark 1.2 on the Model API. The contributor tier carries far lower input and output rates than the standard version. Choosing it permits Meta to use the data for training. Both tiers remain available, and zero data retention is offered separately. Posts note the model targets coding agents and daily use, with cache pricing also reduced. Official accounts confirmed the options without further details on performance benchmarks.

    @xeophon@scaling01 Actually insane deal that might be very much worth it
    @teortaxesTexLMAO Muse Spark has cheaper input, output *and, uniquely, cache hits* than V4-Flash. They don't care about margins, they want the data
    @xlr8harderNice of them to leave this detail out. PSA: Meta Spark contributor tier trains on your data. At least they give you the option of paying much more to avoid it, but Deepseek flash exists so I don't see the point. Never change, Meta!
    @mattdeitke👀
    @kylebrusselllike deepseek v4 flash 0731 this would basically feel free, sipping pennies
    @scaling01this is how you catch up to the frontier looking at you google
    @AIatMetaRT @alignedai: @AIatMeta needs to share this: muse-spark-1.2 pricing vs muse-spark-1.2-contributor it is much much much cheaper almost fr…
    @JackKRT @pratanchandani: We want to make sure everyone gives it a try. Both options are available! ZDR also available on the Meta Model API.
    @EdwardSun0909intelligence too cheap to meter ⬇️
    @baaadasNearly 30% cheaper than DeepSeek v4 Flash ($0.14, $0.0028, $0.28) is insane
