DeepSeek reportedly raises about $15 billion in private funding

A post citing Bloomberg says DeepSeek raised about $15 billion in one of China’s largest private financings. It lists CATL and Tencent among the largest backers, with CATL reportedly committing about $1.5 billion. The post says an earlier round above $7.5 billion closed in June, bringing DeepSeek’s total to about $22.5 billion in roughly six months.
