Living Science introduces AI-assisted updates to economics research

Living Science says it is revisiting influential research as new data, models and methods arrive, starting with economics. In one extension, the team says an agent identified 236 state-level minimum wage increases through 2024, compared with 138 in the original study. It estimates affected workers’ wages rose 4.6% across those increases; the estimated employment change of −1.1% was statistically indistinguishable from zero. The team plans to add at least one paper a week.
