#565Alex Nichol@UNIXPICKLEI was watching a dude's laptop screen at Starbucks today. He noticed and confronted me. I said "are you using AI" and he said he downloaded Claude four days ago and it's helped him make some PDFs. It wasn't able to "scrape info from my squarespace site though".
The guy claimed he was an artist and doesn't know much about tech. He also said he hates grok and chatgpt in principle--I don't think he's tried them though. Said he has friends at Google and they know he hates what they do.
