Google is reportedly rolling out machine-learning age checks in Canada

Reclaim The Net reports that Google is rolling out age verification in Canada, using machine learning to estimate whether users are over or under 18 based on account activity. That includes search history and YouTube viewing patterns. Adults incorrectly classified as minors may be asked to verify their age with a government ID or selfie, the outlet says.
