On September 23, Bobby Allyn said he had confirmed that a video used AI to change a creator’s race and was turned into a Kalshi ad. A Kalshi representative told him the ad was old, the company no longer uses AI-generated ads and it was reviewing its relationship with the agency that made it. Allyn said it remained unclear which agency was responsible, what methods it used and exactly how many people had been digitally altered to promote Kalshi without their knowledge and consent.
