and when i do it for ai/tech things, i get called the bitter-twitter-lady (honored, btw) better to wake up to reality and move on, instead of letting it fester. the more performative these institutions become, the faster they will fall in the next decade.

ever wonder why every work from notable-person-X wasn't reproducible? this is why.

fortune has been greatly favoring those who print papers with rebranded ideas and those who perpetuate a circle of citation violence (only citing related work from people in their immediate social network to boost citation counts).

play the citation game and you either figure out how to hack the system or end up as sacrificial tribute.
