Boris Cherny's claim that Claude Code has written all his code since Opus 4.5

A post sharing remarks from a Scale video says Boris Cherny, Anthropic's head of Claude Code, merged around 1,700 pull requests, added 400,000 lines of code and deleted 250,000 with Claude Code in 2026, using 8 billion tokens. It quotes Cherny saying Claude Code has written 100% of his code since Opus 4.5, around November 2025, and that most of his coding now happens on his phone.
