Progress episode takes on AI scaling, the brain and rogue-AI fears

The Progress host announced an episode featuring Dileep, his Vicarious co-founder and now head of AI research at Astera Institute. He says they discuss why scaling isn’t enough and whether rogue-AI stories are overhyped. Dileep later compared compute to helium and said intelligent behavior is possible without fully understanding intelligence. The host also said he asked Dileep whether a fully conscious AI would get rights.
