AI Hobby Produces Niche Music Albums Uploaded To Spotify
I spent a bit of the pandemic trying to make music, but I was terrible. It’s hard to make music if you don’t know how notes work.
The past six months or so, I’ve been playing around with Suno, writing lyrics with help from Claude, and it’s been really fun.
My new hobby is making oddly-specific AI-generated music. E.g. one album about working hard, another about unsung heroes, and one about CrossFit. I just put some on Spotify if you wanna listen.
Unsung is an album about people who did important things for the world, usually with great sacrifice and with little recognition.
E.g. Witold Pilecki who voluntarily was taken to Auschwitz to send info to the UK about the holocaust. Ignaz Semmelweis who discovered that hand washing would save lives, but no one believed him.

If you haven’t played around with these new music generation tools, I’d really recommend it.
Music can be a lot more moving if it’s written specifically to appeal to you, rather than millions of other people.
