Researcher Shares Omarchy Update Failures for Children

Alex J. Champandard posted that he set up earlier versions of Omarchy for the children and initially found the experience amazing. He then described how everything always broke. Updating too often caused snapshots to fill the disk and the system to fail to boot. Updating too infrequently made remote files disappear. Failing to update at the exact same moment as DHH also triggered breaks. He concluded that keeping the setup stable was not easy.
