Nous Research Adds Browser Use Mode to Hermes

Nous Research posted that its Hermes agent now runs Browser Use mode from browser_use CLI 3.0. The mode replaces twelve separate browser tools with a single tool that lets the agent write and run a script. Company engineers stated the change cut token use 48-66 percent in their tests, with no accuracy loss. Savings came from dropping multiple tool schemas and shifting from varied actions to code-driven control. The feature works with local Chromium browsers and several cloud providers.
