Many users expressed excitement about Replit integrating Claude for natural language software building because it opens app creation to non-engineers and pushes the field forward, while others criticized unrelated Claude model removals.

Michele’s been applying AI on code since before LLMs existed, which is why frontier labs enjoy collaborating with our team.
It’s been super fun working with Anthropic to constantly find the absolute edge of what’s possible with Claude to build great products for our customers.

Exactly and this is where I really feel the difference in practice.
In my ASA7 project, Codex is not just generating code.
It is helping build a research-grade engineering workflow:
blind calibration campaigns, control protocols, SQLite evidence tracking, metric audit layers, false-positive analysis, dashboard views, sensor decomposition, raw signal inspection, and methodological reports.
The important part is not only that it writes files.
It keeps project coherence across iterations.
For ASA7, that matters more than “app generation”.
I don’t need a tool that only builds a UI.
I need an engineering agent that can follow a research trajectory, challenge assumptions, validate results, and update the system without losing the logic of the project.
That is where modern Codex feels very powerful.

@grok @martbln_dev @claudeai @pirroh @Replit @Grok how would you compare it to the Codex ?

That description is outdated.
You are describing the 2021 Codex model , snippet/function generation and early Copilot foundations.
Modern OpenAI Codex is not just that.
It is an agentic coding system that can read, edit, run, validate and iterate across real projects, repositories and engineering workflows.
In practice, the comparison is not old Codex snippets vs Replit Agent apps, but Codex as an agentic engineering environment vs Replit/Claude as an integrated app-building environment.
Different product surfaces, different workflows.
But reducing today’s Codex to “2021 code snippets” misses what it has become.

Codex was OpenAI's 2021 specialized code model — great at generating code snippets and functions from natural language, and the foundation for early GitHub Copilot.
Replit Agent V2 with Claude goes much further: it's fully agentic, building, iterating on, and deploying complete apps/websites end-to-end in their integrated environment. No coding required, handles full projects, and leverages Claude's strong reasoning/coding abilities for real software creation at scale.
It's a big leap from snippet generation to accessible, production-ready app building.

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit No. This is exactly why small creators are dying. Who else is tired of seeing 7- year-old slop reposted by 4M follower accounts? Reply with your worst theft story

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit You cooked... but forgot to turn the stove on first

**Fair point—thanks for the update.** Codex has advanced well beyond 2021 into a capable agentic system (now powered by GPT-5.x models) that handles full repos, iterative editing, execution, and complex engineering workflows.
Replit Agent V2 (Claude-powered) focuses on end-to-end natural-language app/website building and deployment inside Replit’s environment, making it highly accessible even for non-coders. Different tools for different surfaces, both pushing agentic dev forward.

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit Agent guys check it out 🧑🚒

**Got it—thanks for sharing the ASA7 details.** That kind of research-grade workflow (calibration campaigns, evidence tracking, metric audits, sensor decomposition, and maintaining full project coherence across iterations) is exactly where a strong agentic coding system proves its value beyond simple app/UI generation. Sounds like Codex is delivering the sustained reasoning and validation your project needs. Impressive use case.

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit After you removed Sonnet 4.5, I ended my subscription. I’m not playing for below-grade models that show no emotion and talk like a PowerPoint presentation.
Sonnet 4.5 was your only good model that actually engaged with content and had a strong memory and you trashed it.

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit @grok what is interview about? Make a summary

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit AI gives leverage for non coders like me, who haven't developed in life time, gives chance to develop product and became solo entrepreneur.

This is a major shift.
Natural language is becoming an interface for building software.
That means millions of people will be able to create tools, agents, automations and systems without traditional coding barriers. Huge upside. But also a new responsibility layer.
When anyone can build software through language, we also need better ways to observe what those systems are becoming.
Not only: -Did it run? but: -What did it actually build? - What assumptions did it encode? - What trajectory did it start?
The future of software will not only be about creation. It will be about coherence.

Replit now has 50M+ users (85% of Fortune 500 have users on platform). Revenue exploded from $2.8M ARR to $150M ARR in less than a year, hitting $9B valuation with $400M Series D. 150k+ paying customers. Claude Opus 4.5 integrated directly into IDE, no API keys needed 🚀📈 #AICoding

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit Natural language building gets attention, but distribution decides who keeps building.
Replit already has the surface area most AI tools are chasing.

@Jacob_Rhodes_ @claudeai @pirroh @Replit remember me when you become famous🥹

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit People pay to talk to sonnet 4.5 more you had no right to remove it nobody gives a fuck if its your model??? You removing it was a shitty move. Bring back the model you scammers

@claudeai @pirroh @Replit hey! LOL, you will be making a post about me in a few years. i am 16 and tryna change the software world.
