    TLDR

A user argues that devtool founders should start GEO now so their visibility to people using LLMs can grow over time. They recommend allowing AI crawlers in robots.txt, serving primary content server-side because they say those crawlers don’t execute JavaScript, and removing login or paywall restrictions from pages they want cited.

@jia_seedif you are a devtool founder you should likely not wait. start your GEO now, so that it can compound and you don't lose the millions of users that use llms some practical things u can legit do rn: -explicitly Allow: the engine crawlers in robots.txt (examples GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot) -serve the primary content server-side. the aI crawlers don't execute JS; a react spa with no ssr fallback looks like a blank page to them -also remove the login/paywall on the content that u want cited and i could go on and on but yeah if you need any help with this or have questions, you can comment or dm me and i'll answer them without strings attached bc i get it starts confusing asf lmao.
