I've started doing a lot of async learning where I'll take every interesting blog post, tweet, arxiv paper and ask AI to teach me it with a specific prompt. I never read it in the moment, I just queue it up for later. Then when I have a block of time (in an uber, before bed, etc), I'll go and read it vs doomscrolling X.

This is somehow become better than saving links in Notes or something because when I finally have time to read it, there's this highly approachable artifact for me to dive into, read, and ask follow up questions.

I feel like I am learning at much faster rate than I ever have before. Even if the content was poorly written, AI can fix it to your liking and adapt to your experience level.

I have two versions of prompt:

read-quick-dont-validate: <link to paper> Teach me this paper. Break it down step by step. Write each step like a chapter in a book. Write it all out at once. For subtle or difficult concepts, break things down further and use examples.

validate-my-understanding-and-teach-me:

Resources: <paste 5-10+ reference links you've collected about the domain> I would like you to teach me about <modern day post-training for LLMs>. Presume I understand <LLM basics already>. Build up my understanding from scratch step by step. Do not move to the next step without validating my current understanding. For subtle or difficult concepts, break things down further and use examples.

The second one can go on for weeks but you learn in a deep way.

There should be a mobile app that does this as fully personalized education

Also synthesizes everything u want to learn & consume and lets it run as a interactive podcast at night.

I speak to Grok at night talking through books, letting it read me from the book. (But it just tweaks out most of the times and i have to help it stay on track. Its like a audio book but u can just dive deep into any random idea & thought
