CAI-Image aims to keep characters recognizable across styles, scenes and story pages

Character.ai says it post-trained its CAI-Image models to keep the same character recognizable across different styles and scenes. The company says multi-character scenes can maintain one art style even when each character starts with a different look. In its September 17 overview, it said some creators using its dedicated manga model were already past 100 pages. The company credits its CAI-MM-Studio infrastructure with letting it ship new capabilities in weeks while keeping image generation fast and affordable at consumer scale.
