Claude Runs Computer Use in the Background

Anthropic's official Claude account and the ClaudeDevs account announced that computer use now operates in the background inside the Claude Code desktop app on macOS. Users assign tasks such as clicking, typing, and opening allowed apps, and the feature keeps working while they switch to other work. The option appears already enabled for anyone who previously used computer use or can be turned on in Settings under General. It remains in beta and is limited to Pro and Max plans.
