Anthropic Claude Mythos model appears in Google Cloud console
Anthropic added the Claude Mythos model to the Google Cloud console without a preview label. Screenshots captured the exact base_model:-claude-mythos entry under a mythol filter along with agent-card and rate-limit options. The listing followed the same sequence previously used for models such as Opus 4.7 before wider availability on platforms including AWS Bedrock. Multiple posts documented the change despite prior Anthropic statements on safety risks.

Apparently Claude Mythos now appears in the Google Cloud console.
After all the official statements Anthropic has made about concerns that a Claude Mythos release would pose too great a risk, I simply cannot imagine them doing a complete about-face now.
On the contrary, that would make them look unprofessional. Moreover, numerous recent examples demonstrate that Claude Mythos is indeed an extremely strong model. Example:
