Pieter Levels uses Claude Code and Playwright to automate UberEats grocery orders from his terminal
Levels says a one-time login let Claude Code place a banana order through UberEats, and another founder chimed in with a similar Instacart workflow.
“🍌 Got so lazy to order stuff on UberEats that I asked Claude Code to do it... Then you can just say "order bananas" and it does it!”
Pieter Levels@levelsioTECH#627In a post on X, Pieter Levels said he used Claude Code and Playwright to automate an UberEats grocery order from his terminal: log in once on the web, then tell it to "order bananas" and let the tool do the rest. A later follow-up post showed bananas in hand with the caption "Worked!" A MindStudio guide describes the broader browser-automation setup.
“Claude Code knows my dietary preferences, workout schedule, health goals, body metrics. It meal plans for me and uses the Instacart connector to order all the groceries. Then builds charts and graphics for me to send to my trainer.”

this is peak developer laziness and i absolutely love it. using claude code + playwright to turn everyday web wrappers into your own personal api is exactly where agentic automation is heading. i've shipped 6 products and watching how fast we can spin up local browser scripts now is wild.
