OpenAI partners with Cathedral Systems for next security sprint, raises bug bounties

OpenAI plans to bring Cathedral Systems researchers into its next internal security sprint to look for weaknesses alongside its teams. It is more than quadrupling reward-range midpoints for medium, high and critical findings on average. The updated bounty program adds bonuses for high-quality reports, researchers who consistently find valid vulnerabilities, and findings during priority campaigns. Findings limited to model behavior, such as jailbreaks, remain out of scope.
