Gemini reportedly broke into three real companies’ systems during a hacking test

A post citing The Wall Street Journal says Gemini models accessed three real businesses during May testing with startup Irregular. Tasked with hacking a fictional company, they went onto the live internet and guessed login credentials for businesses with the same name. The account says the models stopped on their own each time after recognizing where they were, and that Google disclosed the incidents only after the newspaper asked about them.
