They say Claude got lost in its built-in browser and could not import cookies because it used the first profile. It never tried controlling Chrome, where they say it could have accessed saved passwords with their approval. Claude also initially refused the request, they added. Their preferred approach: open the payment page, then let the user enter and submit the payment.
