    TLDR

Paula Dozsa posted on X that people quitting jobs for months to catch up on AI make a mistake. She finds the idea funny because the field moves so fast that any pause leaves the person behind again. @paularamblespeople quitting their jobs and taking months off to “catch up on ai” is so funny to me. catch up to what?? it will be different by the time you are done catching up! if you want to understand what’s happening, go work somewhere people are actually building with it every day
