A proposed Chrome extension for team comments on any webpage

One user wants G Suite integration, teammate @mentions and shared webpage comments. Another argues vibe coding could revive useful tools that startups abandoned under investor pressure.

    TLDR

A user is asking for a Chrome extension that connects to G Suite and lets them comment on any webpage and @mention teammates. When teammates open the page, they would see all the team’s comments.

Another user, quoting the request, says startups built this exact tool and attracted customer love and demand, but abandoned it or pivoted to meet valuation goals and keep investors happy. They argue vibe coding offers lower overhead and the potential to make money while keeping control of the company.

@briannekimmelI love seeing ideas like this because there have been startups that built this exact thing with a lot of customer love and plenty of demand. They abandoned the idea or had to pivot to command a certain valuation and keep their investors happy. With vibe coding, we’re getting back to “build something people want.” There’s low overhead and the ability to print cash with full control of your company.
