In a reply on X to investor Bojan Tunguz, Elon Musk predicted a future in which "there won’t be dollars or scarcity of goods & services for individual consumption." He later doubled down in another X reply, writing, "Actually, yes," after Tunguz joked that "we'll all be trillionaires." With no outside reporting or policy plan attached in the visible material, the claim landed as a very Musk version of AI futurism: sweeping, confident and light on the part where present-day economics would have to cooperate.
